Before branching off into writing and photography, I spent many years in the IT and NGO sectors as a business analyst, strategist and project manager.

From analysing business needs which dictate the functionality of a software system, to interrogating the implications of diverse contextual factors on curriculum relevance, my critical thinking skills have been put through their paces.

I've managed a team of software developers in Ireland and overseen the development of a three year HIV intervention curriculum in Cape Town. I've planned, juggled and reported on objectives, outputs and deliverables.

Although my current focus is mainly writing and photography, if an interesting project appeared that needed to be taken in hand, I would consider being involved on a freelance basis.
